Radio Coteau

Radio-Coteau (rā’ dē ō – kō tō’) adj. A French colloquial expression suggesting “word of mouth”

Literal Translation: broadcasting from the hillside Origin: Northern Rhone

Radio-Coteau was founded in 2002 by Eric Sussman, a native of New York State who arrived in the Californian wine scene via an agricultural degree at Cornell University and a stint with a small Washington wine producer. He also worked vintages inBordeaux and Burgundy, and studied in Beaune, beforereturning to the US. These are particularly intimate, detailed expressions of some of California's prime vineyard sites.
