Mettler Steacy Ranch Old Vine Zinfandel 2019

This Old Vine Zinfandel is from the legendary Steacy Ranch, which the Mettler family has farmed for years. Planted in 1907, this was one of the first zinfandel vineyard on St. George root stock in Lodi. The soil composition is sandy loan, creating a well drained environment which Old Vine Zinfandel thrives in. This is a beautiful expression of the varietal, with brilliant red fruit flavors of raspberry, ample notes of baking spice, a hint of orange zest and bright acidity. Cooperage: New French oak 10%; balance in neutral barrels
