Drew 2019 Pinot Noir Faîte De Mer Farm Mendocino Ridge 2019

This is our Estate Vineyard. At three miles from the Pacific ocean, this site is the most westward vineyard in Mendocino County and the coolest in our portfolio. The soils are of ancient ocean uplifted ocean floor origin, so are made up of decomposed sandstone, mixed with gravelly materials that include shale and quartz along with a varying levels of clay. These soils, the maritime climate coupled with our coastal forest surrounds are what defines this coastal terroir.
