Covenant Syrah Bien Nacido Vineyard 2020

Our parcel is high on the hill, from where you can see for miles in every direction. Afternoon winds blow in from the Pacific Ocean at a brisk pace, keeping temperatures moderate, yet warm enough to promote thorough ripening. The grapes were picked on October 8th, 2020.

This is a big, lush, voluptuous wine. It’s packed with blackberry, dark cherry and cassis notes, all laced with classically earthy, “sauvage” aromas. Tannins are graceful, giving the wine good structure to frame the ensemble. Toasty oak rounds it off with a long, lingering finish.
