On the nose, you’re greeted with aromas of chocolate covered cherries, toasted almonds, clove, and Kirshwasser. This is a complex wine on the palate teasing with clove, vanilla, and black olive. The herbal notes in the glass are driven by flavors of grilled leeks, roasted Brussel sprouts, and crisp pancetta. Not to be outdone, the finish delivers elements of plum, nutmeg, pink peppercorn, and intense raspberry on structured, silky and polished tannins which leave you wanting this bottle to never end.
