All Peay Estate barrels. Graphite and lead pencil shaving aromas accent a core of blackberry and black olive flavors. This is not a heavy baked fruit style made from a warmer region; this is the coldest region growing Syrah so there is plenty of acidity, energy, and freshness in the wine. 10% whole cluster, aged in 100% old French barriques, bottled unfined and unfiltered. Alcohol/ TA/pH: 13.0%/0.63/3.54. 250 cases
